The Booking Career Mode in Wrestling Empire operates very similarly to other MDickie wrestling games. The interview parodies the Joe Rogan Show (on Spotify). Via Mat's twitter, there is loads of new content including new hats, dialogue, and even your own interview and choosing what to say. Some stuff will be locked off if you don't have a Backstage Pass. You can edit your profile, costumes, moves, and relationships. The layout of the creation area is more close to Weekend Warriors MMA now, with ropes around a blue mat. Danny Might owns Weekend Warriors while Russel Haystacks takes his place in his old brand, Strong Style Wrestling. Fanny Monaco now owns Federation online as Mat Dickie now owns Wrestling Revolution. There is a bunch of brands this year, and they are listed from left to right in popular to unpopular: All American Wrestling (highest popularity), Federation Online, Weekend Warriors (new brand), Rising Sun Puroresu, Maple Leaf Grappling, Super Lucha Libre, Strong Style Wrestling, Wrestling Revolution (new brand), and the final and lowest one, Wrestling School. And we move on to the main core of the game.CAREER MODE. Matter of fact, almost everything in the game was made easier! There is also many useful features in the game as well, and we have already gone over some of them. Strikes and punches are more smooth and the controls are more easier. The gameplay is fluid, as I have mentioned before.

You now have to grind out the career mode to unlock every single wrestler in the game. This is now exclusive to the Switch, as the iOS has backstage passes, aka a "Pro License". There is no micro-transactions this year, which means backstage passes are no longer a thing. Speaking of that, there's more realistic weapon physics ,more blood/gore and many new weapons. You can now hold more than 2 titles at once and every wrestler has been revamped (face-wise.) The chairs now bend as well. Most of the WWE parodies have been shifted to match their retro attires from the 80s to the 2000s.

There is also a update to wrestlers faces, and attires. The game now has 350 different wrestlers and contains new wrestlers from the promotion AEW, and more custom made fictional ones. They are "My Time", "Name in Lights" and "Warriors" by Wolves. But the E is here this time! Wrestling Empire has smooth frames and fast loading speed, which means you will jump into the fun right away. The name is based on one of MDickie's first wrestling games, Wrestling MPire.
Released on January 11th, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch, January 17th for the iOS, and January 30th for Android, Wrestling Empire was MDickie's newest game since 2018.
